In recognition of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, the Clarke Forum’s theme for 2026–27 will be “Revolutions.” Broadly envisioned, revolutions describe ideas and actions of accelerated and contested transformations whether political, technological or cultural. The Clarke Forum’s programs in the coming academic year will explore these complex, disruptive, and cathartic processes as critical to social, scientific, and creative developments in the contemporary moment.
The Clarke Forum welcomes proposals for Spring 2027 that engage with the broad theme of “thought experiments.” Click here for more information about submitting a proposal.
